Guide to fitting Upper Engine Mount?

Take of engine cover.

Loosen top bolt.

Loosen 4 big bolts.

Jack up engine (gently).

Swap over.

You might need to loosen the upper gearbox mount, as mine was off when I changed it over.

Reverse to fit.

May need to take off the undertray( if you have one)

Use a trolley jack under the engine and make sure it grips the sump well. If it slips off the jack you'll need engine bay repairs that are really really going to cost.

Also while your taking off the engine mount be sure to take off that heavy lump of iron on the side.

use a block of wood under your sump its only cast ali my mates one cracked by it being jacked up

Yea use a block of wood under the sump mate Its a really simple job to change it.

pretty damn easy, i'd have a good set of grips or a vice though

Just as easy with the dogbone. Make sure the engine's supported and it's a doddle.
