gunna get sum paint to do my 15s tomorra

unsure tho its either gunmetal grey or anthraciten that i want

any ideas on which luks best?

or pics would be a gr8 help

Are you just spraying with cans or something? Or getting a proper refurb?

Both will be much the same I reckon!

me dads m8 is gunna do them for nowt!!

he sprays motorbikes n scooters n does some alloys sometimes aswell so they should be in safe hands

a real gunmetal has a hint of bronze/gold in it.

just out of interest as im gunna try doing the spare meself

can i just paint over the laquer or do i have to strip the wheels down to bare metal?

youll struggle to fully strip them back to bare metal, unless you have chemical tanks and a sand/shot blaster like us

you need to key the surface using wet and dry (600)

then degrease

then prime

then topcoat (2-3 coats)

then clear (2-3 coats)


much easier to do with the tyres removed too!!
