Ordered a few new cleaning goodies from 7MAT at i4detailing and Rich at PolishedBliss.
While I waited for the bits and Bobs to arrive I had a few jobs I had been wanting to do on the Cup -
Fit my New Carbon Fog light surrounds from Streamline Carbon -
Put the new Dash stickers on (Air Bag / Gear knob and Renault Sport Steering wheel trim) From N2Grafix
Fitted the stickers then to stop them peeling off through Use (Gear Knob mainly) I Gave them about 8 coats of Lacquer
I had been meaning to paint my Brake Calipers for some time and as the new cleaning gear had turned up I thought i would kill two birds with one stone and give the wheels a proper clean off the car and do the Calipers.
1st up was a good degrease with some BMW brake cleaner I had knocking around, great Stuff this -
Then on with some Hammerite Smooth Silver -
While that was drying Tackle the wheels, i had heard good stuff about Bilberry Wheel cleaner and the reviews were not wrong! -
Wheel as it was taken from the car -
Quick Spray and scrub with my New wheel detailing brush -
Then Jet washed off left it looking like this -
Refitted to the car -
My Painted Bullets back on -
New style Renault Sport Badge fitted -
Then a full wash using my Snow Foam and Lance, Dried and on to my Jeffs Acrylic.
Very impressed with the ease of use, Car was primed then the Acrylic applied (Pity the sun was in as the photos dont show how good this stuff actually is) -
Even with the poor sunlight a fairly good reflecting shot which is something I have not managed with any other product -
Tomorrow I tackle the interior!
Thanks for reading
