kic

  former 1.2 16v, now corsa
OK, doing a little work on my mouldings, (pics to follow when complete) so i decided to do it in 3 parts, the 2 font/ slightly bent peices and the long peice where the reg plate sits, so i started yesterday and done the 2 bent peices and got them in HIGHBUILD GREY primer and wetflatted ready for paint, started on the long peice tonight and realised i needed more HIGHBUILD PRIMER so off to halfords it was, got the can............ BEIGE! sh!t i know your supposed to use the same colour of primer thats the closest match to the paint etc, so i decided to ask one of halfords "helpful staff" OMG biggest mistake of my life i simply asked would this make much of a difference as i already have some parts in GREY? he started banging on about beige is a tan colour kind of goldy!!!!!! i said i know but will there be much of a difference to the finished colour compared to the car he said we'll yes because your cars dark grey and this is tan spraypaint OMG x 2, he then got BUT THIS IS HIGHBUILD PRIMER !and a cheeky wee laugh :rasp: to make him feel like a kn*b, he said oh sorry we have our own grey primer up here, yes you do but its not HIGHBUILD you penis,

i just wanted out the shop but i needed primer so i bought both

no wonder people cant get good colouR matches if this is there "paint technician"

this is the can in question, stevie wonder could see this is clearly highbuild
