Because it was gunged up and incredibly stiff I decided to dismantle this and clean it up. Water had obviously been getting in through the rubber seal and the shaft was pretty rusty.
So - out with the emery, cleaned it all up and greased it.... rotates like a good un now.
However - I then came to the reassembly bit. Trying to get the spring and that funny little cam thing back in place with only one pair of hands is proving bleedin impossible....
Other than growing another couple of arms has anyone any suggestions on how to do this?
