Couple more cheeky shots of my car pre-CSS that I found on my phone. The morning before setting off:
Devon
So, the day after CSS, Sarah and I made the trip down to Devon to stay in her parent's caravan for the week. We also 'had' to take the dog. Urgh.
Cue dog proofing the car...
3 layers on towels, plus a seat cover. That'll stop her from ruining them
. I also lifted her in and out of the car, to minimise the risk of damage. "It's only a car, it's only a car". LOL
Plenty of crap to take down with us:
Stopped off at the services half way down (Michael Woodford is it, near Bristol?!), so thought id get a cheeky photo to see how low it looks.
Arrived safely:
Sat in the car park at Saunton Beach. (Bought it some more flowers)
Saw this every single day in Braunton. Sunflowers are common. Had a lovely dint on the passenger door and some nice big stickers on the rear, with the necessary Halfords "Sport" badge.
On the way home, this happened:
Nearly had an accident on the way back, sat on the M5. Was cruising along in the middle lane, a car overtook in the fast lane and it's rear tyre blew, started swerving all over the place. I needed a change of pants. Luckily, the lady driving managed very well to keep control of the car and no one was hurt.
I started to clean up the car today a little bit. Decided that I want my rear seats out, as i'm going to be taking the bike out a lot in the coming weeks and don't want to damage the leather. Is there an easy way to get them out? I've read on here that it's an absolute ballache.
Oh and to add, the PI springs seem really good tbh. Even the OH didn't find them bad in the 700+ miles we've done this week and she thought that the 200 was stiff/uncomfortable at times. Glad that I got them now.
