Thought it was about time I started a thread on the car. It’s wells know on the forum I believe having a few previous owners from here.
I have been on the forum for a long time as this is clio number 5 for me.

1st clio that started it all off was an rb 182 cup

2nd a Flame red phase 1

3rd 172 cup wich I owned for a good few years and shouldn’t have sold

4th was a black 172 I owned for 3 weeks.

And on to clio number 5

With all the above this is easily the best handling clio I’ve owned, I believe it’s also the fastest out of the 5.

First trip out was to goodwood with a few others.

Then I sent the car to Alex at aw Motorwoks for a service and full belt and pully change.

I also removed the yellow film off the fog lights

Then came the cars only track day this year at brands hatch.The car was faultless on the day, I just need to build confidence with the car on track.

Car has then sat on the drive bar a few quick trips.
So plans for 2020

Get an mot on it as I have let it lapse
Sort the few bits of paint out
sort a new key out as current one is failing.

As if they dont leak bad enough, cut a hole in the roof! My Valver let more water in through the sunroof than the Titanic

Titanic let the water in through the starboard bow, believe the sunroof was fine 🤪

Small update

First job is ticked off the list. The key was sent away for repair and now works perfectly.

Next up is mot time so I can get it back in the road.

Small update.

I managed to get the car mot’d just before lockdown.

I’ve managed to do a couple of little jobs while I’m off work. I’ve swapped the dash strips back to some standard silver items.
mirror caps are back to black as the “carbon” wrapped ones were peeling.

I took it out for a drive yesterday to drop some food shopping of to my mum. I had forgotten Just how much fun this car is.

Next job is to find a replacement uch and ecu as the key is playing up once again. Then sort some paint, as the spoiler has started to peel.
