  ford focus
Cant be arsed with a sub cos they weigh the car down or 6 x 9s cause u get nobss breaking ur rear window just for ur parcel shelf, so im thinking of just changing all the standard speakers

  Clio RT 1.4
I've put 13cm Xplod in my front doors. All others are still standard. Got a 12inch sub in the boot though. Cost of install: £14

head unit : free
xplods: £10
amp: £4
sub & box: free

Car boots and mates chucking "broken" s**t out is great :)

All my speakers are different from standard. Went from 13cm at the front and 6x9s in the rear and 12"sub. which sounded alright, now running 17cms in front and 13cms in the rear and the sub.(got rid of the 6x9s). Best set up yet :)
if ya don't want a sub in the rear because of the weight get 17cms in the front added, so much more sound in the front in my car:)

i've just fitted infinity's into my mates vee, they fit behind the grills and sound awesome! they are running off a nakamichi head though.

All of my standard speakers got ripped out within days of picking the Trophy up.

I have a set of Cereg Wega comps up front and a set of Infinity 2 ways in the back. all running off the standard headunit and it sounds 1000% better.

What do you have to do to take them out? Do you need any stuff or do you get it with your new speakers?

The door card can be modified to fit 17cm yes.

I got infinity kappa rears and alpine sxs comps in front all 13" running off alpine 9588r headunit and its sooooo much better. Altough being as its the cup with no sound insulation in the front doors there still not very bassy on the move? But still loads better than originals

Will 17s fit without triming the door car. I would fit speaker rings if that was the case.

If i fit 17cms in the front door cards replacing the 13cms, can i still put the speaker cover on??

Have you amped the front speakers? If so how did you go about the wiring? (the same applies for anyone just using that quote as an example!)
