Haters Are REALLY Going To Hate

Well today i have been busy .

Took most of the stickers off the car and the only ones left are the Renault F1 stickers under the side repeaters and on the bonnet and a very small trophy one under the rear badge.

Then took off the rear OMP strut brace as i was finding it hard to actually put things in the boot.

I then gave it a quick clean and put on my new wheels. I know there is loads of people going to say that they are so wrong but i really think that they go well with the side bullets, Trophy decal and the silver seat belts.

And from the the rear pictures you will see that the exhaust is not that bad and i think its 100 times better then how it was originally.

That looks like a very nice car, with the wheels from a cheap ford stuck on it.

(PS I don't know if they're actually from a ford, just saying that they look like they belong on an old cheap ford)

They wheels are Renault 19 16V or PH2 Clio 16V wheels.

They are made by Speedline and also go by the name Cloverleaf's

Ha Ha Ha ,

There is a few reasons i done this.

1, my 2 back tyres are like slicks.
2, my wheels have no balance weights on them
3, 2 front tyres are stuffed and pull me all over the road
4, the wheels need powder coated again
5, i did not want to be a sheep and follow everyone with 2118's or something similar

Look like Williams wheels

<------ really?

They don't suit it as their too old skool but I understand the method your using these, but they all look mint and the fact if you've got all 4 centre caps the clovers will be worth what you paid (hopefully not a lot).

The design is a bit "round" for the car, which is quite angular. Can't say Id have them on all the time.

I would have junked the rear brace as well though. Impractical hatchback? Silliness.

Since you've got 2 working sets of wheels though, it does mean you can have some proper summer/track tyres and a set of winter ones too. Nice.

Erznunktly what I were about to say... of sorts.

Does not work.

They work on the 19 and the mk1 as they've a lot of straight lines in design.

They do not work aesthetically (obviously they work as wheels as they are wheels..!) on the mk2 as it's a curvy design and the wheels are also curvy. Hence, the regular trophy wheels work so well as they're straight lines compared to the round lines of the car.

IYSWIM.

But, they're your wheels and your car .. so why should anyone give a stuff.

These are just a temp measure as i need to really get the Turini's sorted with some really good tyres but as im not made of money im going to do two at a time and i needed something to roll with.
Front tyres are Prada Spec 2's with 4+mm tread and the backs are budgets with 6+mm tread.
