Having problems converting AVI files to DVD format w/ AVI2DVD

Tried this a couple of times last night but to no avail. Seems that the encoding process only worked for the audio file and leaves me with no video in the source folder.

I followed this guide and used a couple of different encoders but with no luck. Only used one file though, didn't try anything else.

Is there an easier way?

OR get the ultimate for conversion

SVCD2DVD £20 but its worth it.

VSO's DivXToDVD is a good free option.

It could be a codec issue as to why your not getting any video - open the avi in GSpot (www.headbands.com i think) and check in there.

IM trying http://www.winavi.com/en/video-converter/video-converter.htm right now.. seems very good.. i had problems like you with avi2dvd.. Is it usual for this to take over an hour to convert a 800meg avi to SVCD or DVD??.. all i wanna do is burn crank, put on a pizza and bloody watch it!! fed up all this f@nnying around
