having trouble removing drive shaft from passenger hub

  1.2 16v clio
need abit of help on idea's on how to remove the drive shaft everything is off but im having trouble removing the shaft its self as im needing to replace the wheel bearing ive tried wd 40 and smacking it with a hammer and a rubber mallet but im having no luck atall

is it safe to use a blow torch on the shaft? or am i missing something

the car is a 1.2 clio by the way if that helps lol

Halfords shock and lock works a treat as I did it on my passenger side couple of months ago, but when you rebuild it use copper slip will make the job 100 times easier next time
