Head unit removal - can't get it out

  R26
I've looked at previous threads about head unit removal, but I still can't get it out :(

I've got Clio III GT with a Bluetooth head unit, this one:

I've tried slotting the nails in the four holes and pulling out, I've tried putting the screwdrivers in and I've tried the wire coat hanger and pulling outwards, inwards, jamming around and all possible combinations, but the unit just doesn't want to go out. I'm afraid I'll end up breaking something...

It definitely looks something else is holding in it - are there other ways that the head unit could be fixed-in?

  Polo + Micra
proper release keys but see if you can get them from a local motor factors rather than halfords
