Headlight Washer Jet!

Car  Z4 Coupe
Noticed the other day I had a dribble from the passenger side washer jet, tried the washers, both sides work but now it's a constant stream and it's pissing me off to say the least. Its stopped now but only because the water has ran out grrr!!

Is there a fix? Or shall I just change it?

Not sure how much these are? I've got to have the bumper off soon aswell so could do it then.

Mines just started to do it on the passenger side! Got a one way valve from halfrauds. Gonna see if that works?! From what I understand it's a case of cutting washer pipe and putting in valve. Will see how it goes!

How's that going to work? Surely the water will pass through to the headlight as it needs to and will do constantly, which isn't going to fix the problem?

Or are you planning on stopping the headlight washer jets all together?

I think he is hoping the valve will be able to stay shut normally and open when you scoosh the windows/lights and that should stop the water leak.

Apparently you can buy the little ball bit from renault rather than the full unit? Correct me if im wrong? I bought a full new washer last week for £15 though.

look in the guides section. I've posted a guide there for problems related to these jets
