Hel rear flex hoses

Went to fit some rear flex hoses last night and the hoses simply seemed too long.

Anyone able to confirm the length they should be or if anyone any suggestions.

Length of total hose including fixings is 22cm. With hose to end of the nut fixing being 19cm.

The old hose however is only about a17cm between the fixings.

Have I been supplied the wrong hoses? Or are they longer for any reason.
They seem they will simply be too twisted or kinked if fitted

They sold me the wrong ones for my car (Vee) told me they sell loads of them for the car and that I'm wrong. I showed them what I had been sent, surprise! They were wrong.
