HELP! Cup Spoiler! = Rage.

Right first thing first.
I have: 1.4 Ph2 03 Plate Dynamique.
I bought: Cup spoiler.

Simple right? Then why do I have so much syndrome ive now resorted to giving up and coming on here for some MUCH NEEDED! help!

The cup spoiler seems SHORTER than my tailgate!?! me and my brother have spent a good hour raging at this thing.
the right hand side will NOT go flush. the LEFT will?! Ive broke both clips off as they were doing s**te all and pissing me off even more.

Heres my proof:

LEFT! side SCREWED IN! right side DOES NOT come over the side? Therefore miles away from the screw slots, bumps up and don't sit right at all:

I think they're all like that (i've certainly had that problem before). I kept trying and then just screwed it in gradually, which levelled it out.
It never sits totally flush to the glass though.

Put all the screws in about 1 turn each until they're all in, then tighten.

This ^^^ had that problem before when I took mine off too sort the washer hose and couldn't get it back on properly for the life of me then just wee bit each side till there in tight bobs your uncle!

Your problem with this will be where the wire connector is sitting, you'll need to move to be dead centre and not overlapping with the washer pipe, then as Dan said put one in the right then one in the left then go from there. Don't rage bro, there are far worse things to come with Clio Ownership

as above, i'd say just cut the brake light plug off, keep it if you wish to reattach it later.
Put the centre screws in first and then the sides as described above. Iwouldnt use longer screws, you risk them damaging the spoiler you've jsut forked out for.

yeh most likley problem its the wiring underneath from your break light and the washer pipe is forcing it not to lie flush... also they never sit perfectly on the glass
