My partner has just bought a 1999 Clio Alize which came with a radio cassette player. I bought one of the Phillips Radiostat cd players off of ebay for this model of Clio which works with the stalk. When I install it into the car the radio plays but beeps every couple of second. After a couple of minutes it then stops playing and just displays the word 'CODE'. I have the code for the radio but cannot enter it as it just displays 'CODE' with no option to enter the 4-digit code.
I have been advised the radio needs re-setting. Does any of you guys know the procedure for re-setting or any other advice on how to get it working appreciated.
