Trying to insure a 2001 clio grande 1.2 Y reg.

My details

Age : 18
NCB : 1 Year
No claims
No convictions
Yearly mileage: 10,000

Fully comp cheapes i found is £1100. This seems a lot? Tried confused/moneysaving expert and a few more but nothing comes close! They all seem ridiculously expensive. Surely there must be cheaper?

Admiral/Elephant/Bell etc, are all part of the same group but give differing quotes. Play them off against one another.

Bell were expensive for me, about 1800! Will try the other 2 now... why is my insurance so expensive compared to others on this forum?
