Help! Motor Oil Spilt on Cloth Seats :(

someone has spilt engine oil on the back seats of my girlfriends punto
there is a really big mark (over half the rear bench)
anyone got any tip on getting it out

A specialist vallet place should be able to sort something out for you mate....phone around a few places and explain whats happened and see what they can do.

Swarfega might shift it , then clean it with autoglym interior shampoo .

i've used brake cleaner before now!!!!

Autoglym engine and machine cleaner of Megs APC would be my first call. Try them in a hidden place first incase they remove dye from the fabric of the seats.

Something like Meguiars Carpet Cleaner or Chemical Guys Stain Extractor might do it, although as yet I haven't actually tried them on engine oil. If its any consolation though I spilt some brake fluid on one of my leather seats today and thats really made a nice stain

petrol to disolve the oil, then wash the petrol out.
