Help needed ASAP on rear H&R platforms on 172

I am currently trying to fit my H&R coilovers to my MK1 172 but I am confused with the rear plaforms. You have the main platform with a long thread and then a nut with a bigger thread and then another with a small crub screw. Do you fit one under the trailing arm and the other with the crub screw on top and tighten them down. Once tight do you just screw the platform down to the desired height!
