help needed asap

after washing me car 2 nite and cleaning in the wheelarches with pressure washer , me car now thinks its night rider, when u a start it up it revs round to between 5-7000 rpm, if u blip pedal drops to around 3000 rpmthis is the case if u try to drive it also there was a light on the dash gone out now through not sure wot that was as was only on a few seconds, any ideas or is this a trip to the stealer ship :dapprove:

You may have blasted a pipe off the carbon cannister in the passenger arch. Sounds like a vaccuum leak and you've been pressure washing around that area.....

mmm will go look now were abouts it that mate need this sorting asap or getting aa in the morn lol

* just looked can not see any pipes in either arch to be honest let alone one hanging off .

If you jack the car up, under the drivers side you'll see a little box in the bumper area with a couple of pipes going to it, check you havent knocked them or the wiring off it!

nah not going 2 lol, dont realy wanna drive it either through, the light that came on i belive now 2 be the coil light, i think lol funny line thing

Ah, thats the electrical warning light. Id definately go to the dealers if you have warranty....

but after me 5 mile trip home afer washing it went out mate and i have started it again and this light is now not light ?

Does the car still rev all funny?

went to her this morn and perfect revs fine drives fine, see wot next couple of days bring and if ok forget about it , if not off to the stealership she will go, must have been a wet sensor of some kind i think

You got some electrics wet bascially which have now had time to dry... it should be fine now, next time just becareful with what your pressure washing.
