HELP PLEASE, 172 CUP WONT START

Hi fellow clio lovers, been tryn 2 start my 172 cup for the last 2 days and now im completely baffled. The engine turns over fine, first i checked all fuses and relays, then i made sure pump was working and plugs firing properly, so after all this i read about tdc sensor and changed this 2day but still wouldent fire up! turns out that my injectors are not fueling atall, are these stuffed or could this be alarm imob fault? :S any veiws much appreciated.

Try your spare key if you have one the Clio keys are always throwing a wobbly

You got access to a fault code reader at all

yeah i have 1,tried that but no codes are coming up. the middle management light on the dash is on tho,the 1 like a coiled wire :S

Is the fuel pump working ie fuel pressure at the rail

hi, yeah the fuel pump is working and pressure at the rail. pulled the fuel pipe off the rail and got a mate to turn it over and it pumps fuel. did the same with the injectors,but the injectors are not working.

You getting a spark as well at the plugs
Did this just happen all of a sudden

all the plugs are getting a spark to. happened over about 5 days, sometimes it would start and the next morn it wouldent! now it wont atall. tried roll start to.

Bit of a strange one then have a good search through here some one has bound to have come across this before failing that phone one of the specialists on here sorry I can't help you further hope you get it sorted

Does sound ecu fault doubtfull all 4 injectors have gone down at once there's a guy called mick on here diamond motors he is in the traders section try him he seems to know his stuff with this sort of thing

AM i right in thinking the 172 when the ignition is turned on, it makes a kind of buzzing noise in the engine bay somewhere! where does this noise come from? coz mine is making no noise atall.

when u turn the ignition on does the small round red light go out on the dash /its in the middle of speedo/ rev counter

bit baffled really,given up 4 now. guna have to book it in to a garage tomorrow,get it connected to diagnostics.

after changing a few fuses and relays i have change now. still wont start,but the imob light is fashing fast on the dash and nothing happens when i turn it over! could this be the transpoder ring 4 the key?

I had this problem on my 172 cup and it was the transponder around the ignition barrel.

I have a spare if u need it.

Yep def working. There all the same on every mk 2 clio from a 1.2- 2.0 sport

FRANKENSTEINS ALIVE,LOL. . Changed sum fuses and relays then the imob light stayed on solid, then my battery died from being cranked over a billion times.lol. charged it up, reconnected it and she fired up.
