Help putting ph2 strips on ph1

Decided to keep my phase 1 black 172, was going to sell it but just don’t generate enough interest these cars!. Anyways I want Ph2 door strips on it, how do I go about this? Do they simply just fit on? Also does anyone have any pictures of these cars on fox racing evo 3 wheels?

fit exactly the same as the ones you have now

as Mr Miagi says

As above. Slide the back ones toward the front of the car and the front ones towards the rear of the car (may need a bit of force). New ones fit straight on.

I know i will have difficulty finding a black phase 2 sport with side strips. could i do this?? get the black side strips from a 1.2 and get the 2.0 16v badges from say a silver sport? will the 2.016v badges fit straight on to the 1.2 side strips?

yea they should do, there exsatly the same side strips on sports as on non sports,
