Hi all just bought a clio 182 few minor problems

Hi iv just bought a arctic blue clio 182
04 reg with 78k full service history with all belts done
Iv had loads of cars in the past jyst down to this and a offroader atm

And the few pronlems are

Headlights look green and scratched
Drivers seat moves from side to side
The steering wheel looks like my dogs chewed on it!
Standard cd player turns it srlf off after 10 mins
A few scratches hear and there
Engine bay is a mess
And the wheels are so curbed i think my nan must have been driving it!

Just wondering reall about cd player headlights and
Horrible steering wheel

welcome to the common faults of renault. search headlight correction, not sure bout stereo, steering wheel common for thumb grips and melting

sounds like the headlights need restoring mate, quite common on the clios, use the search bar at the type i search for headlight restoration, you should find a guide on how to do it yourself.

steering wheel- these melt in the sunlight, again a common fault with the clio, will need a new one or an aftermarket one

as for the cd player, im not sure posting in the Faults,Problems and solutions section of the website.

sounds like the car needs a bit of TLC pal hope you didnt pay too much for it!

Guessing with the stereo it had a aftermarket one in before and they never swapped the constant live and ignition live back round.

For the passenger seat , is the whole unit loose ?
If so you gotta go under the car and tighten the 4 bolts , they might be loose ?

Like you say needs a bit of tlc
Iv looked up about the head lights
Ill buy new steering wheel
Have the wheels refurbed
Send it to the body shop

And it be a minter thanks people
Ill get some pics up
