High pressure power steering leak - out of ideas :(

So my second problem of the week with the classically french 182 - my power steering hose ( high pressure going to left axel ? ) has been worn away by the heat shield.... there is now a small pin sized hole that fluid is slowly dripping from ( loosing about 1ml every mile)

Ive tried using metal alraldite epoxy to seal around the hole , but she's still leaking

option A : scrape off the epoxy and then mig weld over the hole? ( is this a good idea since access is very limited?)

option B : how easily can that pipe be replaced? - it looks an absolute grade 1 pain

photos show the pipe - its the one covered in epoxy

anyone had a similar problem like this ?

I've got a high pressure hose ready to post. Replacement is the only fix.

There's the connection at the PAS rack by the steering column joint and a couple of bolts securing the pipe along its length.

It's not a bad job, bit of patience and some rags and a tub to catch the oil is all you need really.

on closer inspection its the reservoir to rack pipe (i think thats low pressure) that i need
