Lol i actually left the road hit a tree and rolled up it!!! and none of the air bags went off and i had no injuries what so ever, very lucky no one else was involved, on the plus side after the insurance paid out i had a grand to spend on my new 182

They'll have it for a fair length of time if they're re-shelling it. Glad you got it sorted out, and go over it with a fine toothcomb when u get it back.

alright folks ive a question, as the cars been in an accident and repaired will it be classed as a Cat D or as they are doing alot of work will they get the Cat D status removed?

Cat d means category d write off.
If it's not been written off (your's hasn't, it's being fixed) then nothing will show up on an hpi check.

i could sell up and get a megane 175 insurance would be 2k.. insurance on a 182 has gone up from £1200 before the crash to £3000+ . not sure if im gonna sell up or what i love driving but im dreading getting the car back.. ive been driving my brothers corsa for the time being and i dont like it so i think thats also puting me off

right! update today. 4 weeks 5 days after the crash I actually got an acceptable update when I phoned.. should be getting the car tomrorow (4weeks 6 days after the crash!!). anyone know how the car will handle now? will it feel the same? will it drive different? will it sound different? cheers

ballymena although i beat my car up alot more than yours. insurance is going to be such a killer now. im the reason insurance 4 an 18yo is so expensive
