HMMM 172 question auxbelt

  leon cupra R
Does the Auxbelt run the fanbelt ? was told you have the cambelt and you only need the other belt which is the aux belt to run the fanbelt also etc??? if you get ma drift!!

anyways i have

cambeltbelt kit - tensioners
waterpump
Aux belt

thats all i need isnt it?

  Megane dci 130
One belt drives, all. Alternater, water pump, Aic con, pas pump.

Plus dont attempt it yourself unless you have the Locking pin and the camshaft setting bar!

^^^ i'd be more worried about him attempting it thinking the aux belt powers the fan, when it's clearly at the front running on an electric motor.

  Lots of Alfas
The fan is electric. As above, the belt drives the accesories. You need a new tensioner and idler for the aux belt also.
