Honda Civic Type R (2007) vs. 197 Cup.

Just been to test drive them both.

Clio is a toy car, crappy interior,

i dont think so m8 lots have said how good the 197 interior is (especially with options) you have to look at the price difference after the usual reductions, also compared to what your driving its a revelation.
you can get a full £1800 leather option where you get the same leather as bmw & professionally stiched etc.. (see renaultsport thread)

that said, the CTR does have a really great interior quality however the money went on the styling, its rear suspension is from the last shape 1.2 and not as advanced as the last shape CTR, and im not talking springs were talking the whole rear axel.

all skirt and nei knickers.

its the jdm civic, looks race inspired and isnt overly styled inside like the uk civic which to be fair looks like a argos mini system in demo mode.

yea but its meant to be the highest spec i.e the best possible combo for the interior hence the reason i chose it to illustrate the fact.

I got my quote messed up and edited it. I was of course pointing to the image of the UK Civic interior. It's not the TypeR. The TypeR interior is far more like the later image of the JDM CTR...but better

yer. Oh and i cannot afford the JDM FN2 (not that its out yet i dont think) or the FD2. I like the FD2 actually.

..........Or could i ??? 225bhp does sound good So does 240bhp for the Type R-R. 5.8 to 60 though i doubt ill see happy insurance quotes for that ! Even so this will be my third car and i cant afford more than about £16k.

That Type R must stink with the number of magic trees swinging from the mirror... "Vanillaroma" as well if I'm not mistaken - properly hums, I'm more of a "New car smell" man myself...
