^^^ Fit a new gaiter on the gear lever on a 03 Reg 1.6 Clio?

The reason I am asking is, the people who fitted my alarm, stereo/multi cd changer, have broken the rear clips on the gaiter and now it is all loose and floppy.

Any ideas? (the clips have broken off completely).

Its easy to do £10 or so for a new one I've the part number somwhere the leather look one from the 172 will also fit its a bit more expensive though.

To swop it pull the old up inside out them cut the old plastic clip off and pull it off the gearstick. Then put the new one inside out as such just like you remove the onle one ppull the plastic tie clip tight cut off as much of the extra tie clip as you can and clip the new one down to the cneter col,some bit.

Oh bloody hell, that's a relief. I had visions of having to take the gear lever out and all sorts. Thanks for that. The part number would be really handy if you have it please.

There only £4.98 (unless they have gone up) or so when i got them!

That includes the gaitor and plastic clip it comes on.

The 172/182 and normal clios are all the same!!! all leatherish looking!! No fancy differences
