how much do you save by removing the rear seats?

  Discounted 1*2 parts
I have a 182 with the half leather and just deciding whether to remove the rear seats of not. Eventually i'm going buckets in the front and half cage so might as well get the ball rolling now?

i stripped the back of my 106 GTI and that was half leather (bear in mind its very thin cheap leather in cheaper cars) and you dond save that much as they arent that heavy, you have to strip a lot to make a little difference

The seats by themselves are really light. Probably worth taking out as much as Dr Rollo, although i suspect his biggest saving was from the wheels (?)

I kept them out, mainly so people couldent ask for lifts;) and i liked the noise with no interior:)

ive just taken out my sub/amp and rear seats , seats belts and fixtures, the car does seem faster.
the seats r so easy to take out is shocking , especially the seats them selves

it seems to hit the rev limiter alot quicker when i boost it in first

not that i hit the limiter everytime by the way

Has your service and air bag light come on ? Mine did and I don't know how to get them off. Did your rear seat belts have connector plugs ?
