Any used car sales people got an idea? Picking it up on Monday to sort out then eventually list for sale.

There really arent many 3.0l for sale. This is similar with more miles but £10k can’t be right surely 😂

I just found a great car on Auto Trader:

No idea what makes it sport.. guess my mum’s one is. Just seen it’s auto too.. dont know how that effects values on these.
Would have guessed about 6k ish lol

£6k gets you one on 100k+ miles judging on ebay. May list it for around £10k and see what happens 😂

get that bumper sorted and I think 10k is a fair price.

Cheers. Will have a good look over it etc and make it presentable. Nice car tbf, I’d happily have it if my car wasn’t such a perfect all rounder.

Very much depends on the spec on the Z4 mate.

Is it a 3.0si or 3.0i? Important, as the SI came with the later, more powerful N52 engine instead of the M54, which makes it much more desirable and prices reflect this.

I think I can just about make out that it is an Si model on the wing?

Is it manual or auto? Manual is rarer so again prices reflect this.

Then it comes down to spec - they can vary quite a lot. An Si “Sport” is again more desirable than a “Non-Sport” Si but not by much (I can tell if it’s a Sport or not if you put up a picture of the seats).

Beyond this, desirable options on them are heated seats (preferably Sport seats on the Sport model), cruise control, xenons and cup holders. And then wheels too… looks like yours has the desirable 108’s (split wheels).

Prices are on the rise for good, low mileage Si Z4’s.

A manual, 3.0si Sport with all the options is quite a desirable car and would be worth the most. And then work backwards from there if not a Sport or doesn’t have certain options etc. With that low mileage though, I wouldn’t expect it to hang around long but I would sort the bumper out 👍🏼

This is the best seat pic, i’m sure they are almost wingback style around the shoulders. they’re heated and electric

@Dinky Feet

There is currently a 3.0Si up for sale on the Z4 Forum on 71k miles for £8250, was posted up in October, but is still for sale now.

However, there was 2.5Si sport on 78k that was up for £8k, that sold within a couple of weeks.

With the lower mileage, I'd guess it would sell for a similar price pretty quickly. But if you could tidy it up and present it well could fetch £9k +, the big difference I can see in the two ads is that the 2.5Si was much better presented and the car looked like it was looked after and cared for.

Yes they are the Sport seats mate, have deeper bolsters both on the base and around the shoulder areas as you have mentioned.

So, it is a manual 3.0si Sport which is the most desirable model (y)

Has heated and electric seats, but that looks to be it on the options. Doesn't have xenons (I can tell as it has a headlight level adjustment dial on the main headlight switch, xenons don't have this as they are self levelling), and doesn't have cup holders (the blanks underneath the outer air vents would have a cup logo in the middle if they were cup holders). Also doesn't have cruise from what I can tell (there would be an additional stalk underneath indicator stalk).

Other options to check... does it have the upgraded audio which people want? Easy way to check is to look behind the seats, if there are grilles behind the seats then it does, if there are storage pockets/cabins instead then it doesn't. Does it have PDC (rear parking sensors)?

But, assuming it is low owners and full history, and you were to sort the bumper out, I think you could realistically get around £8-8.5k for it - even higher if it had a few more of the options people generally want. Can see the MOT history is very good/clean. Helps that it has the BBS 108 split wheels which people like on these (but they often corrode so depends on condition). And I assume the business sign writing will come off :ROFLMAO:

I have the number for the chap I bought my previous Z4 3.0si from if you wanted it - he specialises in these and buys/sells them. Based in Bristol. If nothing else he could probably give you a very accurate valuation for a private sale, but he may even make you an offer for it as it is as I know he would likely be interested in it.

Very helpful mate. I’ll drop you a text or FB message soon as the number may be helpful. My mum wants X amount and I can keep the rest apparently so I want to sort it nicely and sell it for a decent price 😂

I don't think the style 108 wheel are that popular on these anymore. They're expensive to refurb due to needing splitting etc, and haven't really aged well either. If you can pick up a set of style 107's fairly cheap that are in good condition, or that can be powder coated cheaply, then sell the 108's. It'll probably help sell the car and may even increase the value slightly.

Definitely advertise on the Z4 forum though, there is normally quite a few wanted post on there too with people looking for lower mileage cars

I agree with you on the 108 wheels, I don't like them personally. And as you say, expensive to refurbish properly (a lot are done cheaply). First thing I did with my Z4 was remove these and change for different wheels, but the interest I had when advertising the 108s was crazy (just under a year ago), hence I do believe they are quite popular. But a marmite design.

That's stunning. My sister (no) had a grey/silver 56 plate one. Drove really well.

My old one? It was a nice one. The colour was particularly nice in the sun, and the genuine BMW BBS Motorsport wheels I put on looked great (never seen another on them). I do miss that straight six engine!

Collected.. few bits to do. Think I need to do the relocation of the roof power thing. Spoken to RBM.. £200 isn’t as bad as I was expecting!

Looks a bit chaotic outside my house now!

View attachment 1574743

Think you need to transfer the graphics onto the Porker 🤣

I’ve used RBM, they relocated the roof motor on mine and did some other work 👍🏼 can highly recommend them and definitely worth having that done as prospective buyers will ask about it.

Haven’t advertised it yet, but been offered £9k so far, without the bumper fix. Booked in for £600 worth of servicing and to fix the roof motor first.
