40k fsh, Cambelt done by rsports at 34k January 2012 also btm checked the timing for piece of mind at last service
Around 10 months mot and 3 months tax
just had a gearbox oil change
gaz coilovers
puremotorsport top mount + strut
Whiteline RARB
ktec style induction kit
rs tuner mmap
stainless exhaust
solid engine mount, gearbox and poly dog bone
polybush from ARB, wishbones done may this year
new ball joints and track rod ends also done in may
cades 15" wheels with plenty of tread
Carbon fibre front splited
custom sprayed part such as dash strips
few minor scratchs but hardly any stone chips.

Genuine oz f1's off my phase1.

All of them need a refurb as not in the best condition (poor paint job flaking of from jetwash etc)
comes with 3 centre caps,
2 toyo t1r's replaced about 5/6 months ago, rest have pirelli's on, 2 of them have about 3mm one has close to limit!

I payed £150 just to get the bumper painted, i removed and re-fitted it.

Check your boot floor for damage.

Yeah going to have proper look tommrow just thought id get a ballpark figure hoping floor pan is fine drives alright and impact was not at that high speed didnt break rear bulb holder.

It's a phase 1 Clio sport with 195bhp. Mot being done this week and will re tax it once that has been done. Just fitted a new battery and rear handbrake cables. Mileage is 119k. Loads and loads of history including original receipt from renualt for 16ish grand. Has had a rebulit gearbox in the last 3k clutch and driveshaft at the same time. Mods include induction kit, matched inlets, mild cams, magnacor leads and platinum tipped plugs. Lowered sensibly on Gaz coilovers with new rear platforms. Phase 2 rear lights and cup hoot spoiler, sparco wheel and skoda Fabia front splitter. Pretty mint! Opinions please?

It's also had a remap by Ktec racing and is meant to be running around 195bhp...

He hasn't listed it up for sale yet I've got my leon cupra R up for sale and he sent me a text offering his clio and cash my way! Suits me down to the ground as pays for most of the honeymoon just want a rough idea as there isn't a lot of phase 1's about on eBay/piston heads etc so can't really compare prices

Just wondered how much I'd get for my Full Fat Liquid Yellow 182 with 42,000miles. Cambelt was changed when I started driving it which was around 2000miles ago. KTR ultra performance exhaust, eibach proline lowering springs, fitted around 200 miles ago. Still have the original cup springs,

Long shot. still considering whether it's worth selling or repairing mine

172 monaco blue, 53 plate. 2 owners including me. part service history. xenons, cruise climate and traction control. standard 172 leather and alcantara. wheelsa little kerbed but nothing major. it's about 116,000 miles

no tax or MOT, engine is dead but everything else is fine. How much do these go for as a rolling shell? i'm either gonna sell as is, repair the engine or sell if for bits. presume i can get a fair bit for bits

ai, second hand engine can be had for 200 needing belts if you shop about, as engines out the car belts are bit easier so should keep the garage bills down (presume your going to use a garage as sounds like 1600 is a garage price)

yeh for a second hand one. That's what i'm currently planning on doing. but the lump will be about £600. The labour, belts and clutch was £800 (350 fitting, 450 for clutch, cambelt, dephaser and aux and MOT) from dan and then the transporting of the car to get it to him. Once all that is done it will need taxing too But for that price i could get another 172 and then sell the one/scrap the one i have making some money that way. I'm still torn but would like to know if anyone would buy a rolling shell and for how much. I would have thought the wheels, headlights, interior, steering wheel and body parts would get at least £700 no?

Engines go for 250-300 quid. should cost that much to do with engine out anyway.

Iv'e recently purchased a 2002 Clio 172. It came with a BMC CDA air intake (The carbon fibre box thing)

It seems to be all working and in pretty good condition. Im wanting to revert back to the stock intake but i have no idea how much the BMC intake would be worth! if anyone could give me a rough idea that would be greatly appreciated.

After some advice on how much my clio would be worth selling as spares or repairs as i have a new car , as the circlip has popped on the diff , its an 04 182 ff Artic blue Scorpion exhaust system including decat (currently has original cat on ) ,panel filter ,98 ron rs tuner map(have the overrun map aswell for the car just dont have the rs tuner),maybe few bits i forgot.
Roughly 106k miles , tax till march , mot till end of feb ,
bad points- aswell as the gearbox it also has a crack on windscreen , wheels need refurbing , and bumper could do with respray due to stone chips

(i do have another gearbox that has a bolt in diff but unfortunately lost drive in 1st gear when it was removed ( could be refurbed ))
