Could anyone assist me on how much Renault 16" Canasta Alloys in a good condition with a good tyre are worth? I'm looking at getting some for my Clio. I Would be looking to spend maybe £100 for each wheel with tyre, is this too much/too little?

I paid £1050 for my 172 Monaco blue with a years mot 3 months ago and am selling due to a new project I need to fund, it has 3 months tax, done 108k and history but only part history upto 60k I think, how much would I get roughly when I put it up for sale?

Anyway, my Flame Red, FF Mark II 172 is gathering a hell of a lot of dust, so needs shifting. Plus, I'd moved down here to London a while back and who needs a car down here?! It's been off the road for a couple of years (declared SORN, locked up in a garage), so will need a new battery and a bit of tlc, but, main things;

Belts done at 30k I think, a few years ago, but probably need doing again in the next 12-18 months.
I *think* the brakes & tyres are all decent.
Standard all-round.

There is a cup spoiler and a spare clutch in the boot though (if anyone wants?)

Manifold needs replacing as its blowing a little.
Bodywork is probably average for a car this age, so few scratches here and there, although the interior is pretty decent.
Air con will def need a good going over too!

What do you lot reckon its worth?

I had a Clio track car built by Mark Fish, he spent about 125 hrs on it, sorting out the engine (hand polishing bearing areas etc) fitting parts etc. It's only done about 1000 miles since the build three years ago so it'll be best going to someone that will use it. It's got a few age related small marks and dings. It's done 2.5 track days since the build, one was my 60 year old father driving on a novice day so not sure it counts.

Bad point at the moment is the blowers gone kerput.

Steve r sports sold a mint ph1 172 last year.

It had a 27k build sheet and he got over 7k for it.
Id say 5k ish was about right. Imo

I know, I've been nearly putting it up for sale for ages, then changing my mind. Problem is I've got two cars I don't use and I was thinking of putting the funds into the other one which is a MK1 Escort Mexico. Save on tax and insurance too
