3800? rough guess, sounds lovely i have to say
Seems high!

Most people dont seem prepared to pay much more than £3k, no matter what mods + condition (unless its *really* special, see clean16vs car)

Ive seen clean16vs and its mint yes i know i just wanted some rough prices to how its worth and it is more or less standard so it shouldnt be hard to sell plus its got full service history and low mileage for its age.

Cheers Pete

you have to remember that an extra few hundred quid and you could get a half decent williams, i know what i would go for........... so i cant see anyone paying more than 4k at all for a 16v although youve got to love the naples red, a bit special

Theres some pics of it if you go into southend meet selection if you look at they may meet its in the gallery its in the corner.

Dont want to shock you Pete, but my super mint Valver went for £2,700.

For the rest of you, it was tuned, had leather, refurbed wheels, ICE and was almost a new car.

i know of a kitted valver owned by a amte of mine, he sold for about £3.8k with 72k on the clock and in need of a cambelt change.

the problem you have is that your car is near-enuff standard, so you are most likely to sell to an enthusiast like the peeps on here, his was kitted so it appealed to all the max power kids, etc, and they dont tend to know what theyre talking about, so will pay over the odds for a bodykit and a flip paint job :p

i know when i was looking for a valver not so long ago, the ones i found ina condition simnialr to yours were going for about £3-3.5k but i was never prepared to pay more than £3k for a car that age!

advertise for £3.5k, and see what you get, you dont have to sell at that price, if there is a lot of interest re-advertise at a higher price ;)
