I'm gonna say my insurance cos it appears to be so much cheaper than everyone else
Insurance= £35.58 a month :)
Loan= £200
Fuel= £150
Tax = 19.59
MOT= 2.91
Service= £12.5
Tyres= £16.77

Thats how i work mine out.

£437

  Clio 197
A month mine is the following:

Loan: £160
Fuel: £30
Insurance: Paid up front, would have been £45 PCM

£235

Ins. £15, Tax £20, petrol £20, per month. depreciation £0. Got to to be cheapest of you lot as I'm an old geez.

I thought I'd be close to the cheapest at £33/month insurance. I see I have some way to go. A nice rural postcode might help there I guess..

I spend about £40/month on petrol. All other running costs included it probably costs me about £150/month.

£35 insurance (modified)
£60 Fuel
£20 Tax

Peanuts tbh, mobile phone probably costs more over a year!

Insuring with Saga is the the best for me. The joy of being a Grandad.

DrRollo, I've copied your format cos I complety own you on insurance ;)

Insurance= £34.58 a month (but paid on 0% CC upfront)
Loan= 0
Fuel= £150
Tax = £10.41
MOT= £3.75
Routine Service= £5 (trade discount ftw)
Misc = £30
Tyres= £10

Total= £243.74

  Black 182 FF
My monthly costs:
Loan repayment - £141 (I did extend the term for other things too).
Insurance - £42
Petrol - depends. Girlfriend lives away from me and can do that trip maybe twice a month at £30 a time, but before that I'll put about £100 per month in.
AA - £7.** a month
Tax = (at £129 every six months) £21.50
MOT - £30
Maintainance is a bit random - due to tyres, cambelt/aux belt kit and usual fluids and stuff it would be artificially high this year (well lets hope so anyway!). I would say over the 2 years I've owned the car though, it's needed general servicing, about three tyres, cam belt kit etc, exhaust so per month so far it's probably cost me about £35.

So between £409 and £349 and that's a decent wedge out of my wage at the moment.

  Ph1 172
insurance= £31.08 a month
Fuel= £80
in the 2 months i've had it about 120 quid on service parts and a tyre

  Phase 1 172

  172
Tax: £20ish
Fuel: £120

I did buy this car to save money & that's less than half what my MX-5 was costing me :D So working out good (not including the £450 it cost to repair the thing after i bought it)

  mx5 & 172
the extra 5mpg and reduced insurance compared to the 5 really add up. I'd be saving money if I didn't still have mine :D
