Same here! Petrol is costing me a fortune, I do work, but all money goes to pay for car.



Well i have one more year starting this October, then im onto finding a decent job, currently working at TNT which pays the bills nicely and fits in around Uni.

The petrol, well it seems like a distant past that youd drive round a station and see Unleaded 77.9 in fact its ridiculous at the moment (sodding chinese). But i find that driving sensibly on a decent run i can easily manage 37+ mpg which isnt bad, just when you rag it and you get....well, less

Not once have my parents givin me money, I went through Uni myself and bought all of my cars with my own money. Its called F**king hard graft.

I doubt many on the Forum have handouts from their parents and all i can say to the ones that do is they should be very greatfull to their parents for that.

I’m 21 and bought a brand new 182 last year. I’m at uni full time (just going into my final year) and run my own business. Proud to say I have never had any handouts and I’m looking at changing to something a bit faster in the next couple of months
