How to apply Meguiars NXT All Metal Polish

Hi

Im going to buy Meguiars NXT All Metal Polish to clean by exhaust, whats the best way to apply it?

The Megs NXT Metal polish is quite mild so I tend to use it after Autosol on most jobs.

I use Autosol on some very fine wire wool, then go over that with the NXT on a microfiber cloth.

lol i do the same! found the autosol cleans the metal alot better but the nxt leaves a nice glossy finish

ok thanks guys were can I get Autosol from, I had a look around cleanyourcar but couldnt find it.

another question, sorry whats the best thing for making my windows seals black again, and do I do that before washing the car?

wash then dry, maybe clean and scrub gently with an all purpose cleaner, then try one of these: Ag bumper and trim care(just used it, bloody great), swissvaxx pneu, Einsznett gummipfledge,poorboys natural look dressing

Autosol can be bought from most car shops I got mine from Halfords, you only need a tiny bit and it last forever.

I always use it on the exahust tips to bring the shine back on them, then top it off the Meguires NXT just for that extra little bit of shine.

Use a cotton polishing cloth the stuff you can buy in rolls from halfords wrap it round the exhaust then pull on either end back and fore for 360 degree all round exhaust polish in one simple movement!
