how to change a car battery? HELP PLZ!!!

Hi guys any1 no how to change a clio battery, ive undone the connectors but cant find the battery holder clip, its gotta be on the left side. any1 got any diagrams i can use? stuck at uni atm and need to get home, help any1. thanks

What phase Clio mate? Mk1 or Mk2?

The battery holder clip is on the left hand side of the battery next to the airbox, from memory (may not strictly be true).

If you remove the airbox you should be able to feel around the bottom of the battery and thus find the brackett holding it in place.

A good torch might be a good investment whilst you're getting the battery

yeah theres a plate holding it in place, its on the side, right hand side from the front

yeah and a extension bar thing as you cant get to it without the long bit

Make sure your secure the connectors well after fitted the new one!!! Otherwise, start up problem and that hurts!!!

fitted a new 1 in, all the electric works, car not starting!!! ARRRR, called rac out and said something wrong with the immobaliser, towed it to kwik fit and they dont do em, now pissed off as f**k, called rac out again, sayin only 1 tow allowed, managed to get em out again and now get the car to renault still waitin SO PISSED OFF NOW!!!!, any1 no how to reset the immobaliser?
