How to mod my new Clio?

  1.2 Dynamique
Hi guys, just bought a nice '06 black Campus Sport 1.2 (will upload pics soon!) Having just removed the gay little 'campus' sticker off the back, I'm now up for doing some serious modding to it in the future! :) However I've got a very limited technical knowledge about cars (never done any real modding before!) Atm I'm thinking of:

1. Adding a "sport" badge on the back. Should be easy peasy even for me, except isn't the 'sport' badge supposed to go below the 'RENAULT' badge, which isn't on the back of Campuses for some reason?)

2. Buying and installing these: http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=25 to get a xenon-like look in the car.

3. Maybe buying 'black angel eye' front headlights - how much do these cost? How hard are they to fit

4. U guys got any other good mod ideas that aren't too expensive? Don't want to go overboard here, just give it a few cool touches here and there!

So my questino is - how hard will 2 and 3 be for a noob modder like myself? Installing xenon-style bulbs and even new headlights - are these relatively easy tasks for someone with no technical expertise? :)

Cheers for all the help guys!! :)

They won't really look like xenons tbh, better off with just some uprated bulbs unless..

Check the ktec site for cost, bumper off to fit not as major as it sounds. You could fit a hid xenon conversion kit in these as they run projectors.

Usual CS crap, silvervisions etc. Do a search

Don't stick a sport badge on a non-sport car, you will get slaughtered by CS for doing that!

Angel eyes aren't usually received too well either, as can be noted by another thread in this section at the moment.

As for mods, if you're following the route most people do:

Lights:
Clear (if not already) side repeaters: £6
silvertecs and silvervisions: £10-20

Suspension:
Springs only: Eibach Proline or Sportline: £150
Coilovers: H&R: £800

Wheels:
172 or 182 alloys: £100-200
Turinis or alternative: £300-600
Wheels Refurbed: £200 in the region of

Bodywork:
Colour coding: £200 upwards
RS grille: £30?
Bumpers, skirts etc. £varies
Some sort of splitter: £30 upwards
Spoiler: Dynamique, Trophy etc. etc.: £40 upwards
Remove stupid crease in campus boot: priceless.

Aerial:
CTR or alternative: £10-£30

Interior:
Alpine / Pioneer Head Unit: £100-200
Components etc. etc.: £ as much as you're willing to pay
New Trim: depends what you want

Engine:
Ask someone else, I don't really know

Sure there'll be a few things I've missed and the pricing may be off but you get the idea; it's a never ending pit for your hard earned cash.

i dont like RS grills on non-sports myself. the square 'waffle' shape is not repeated anywhere else on his car, and it looks daft imo.

Simply spewing out what is commonplace in terms of CS modifications. I would argue that the honeycomb style grill and others aren't repeated anywhere else either, so it's a fairly moot point. Guess it's just a case of personal preference like you said. :)

I would agree, having just bought a set myself ;). In a way I would say that both colour coding and a slight lowering are just as important though, as well as a good PCing.

The 16v has a sport badge on the door pillar yeah, but not the 8v.
They alloys are the same style as the 172 but in 15'' rather than 16''

  In between cars....
Id get some springs and nice alloys on,

will 172/182FF lights fit to get the xenons?

Clear side repeaters and some colour coding

dildo mounted on ur dash would look good, no bigger than 9" though otherwise would just look silly

Do they really still knock the Campus out with that 8v 1.2?
