  1.8 valver,williams,105e
Hi,had my 1st trackday in my williams trackcar, its got pipercams fully stripped etc-its a proper rally/trackcar it runs slicks and de-carbon front legs and gaz rear adj shocks
basically when coming out of the 2 hairpins at rockingham im getting excessive wheelspin(one wheel)even in 3rd it was smoking the tyre in fact i fucked the diff by diner time ,i no lsd is the way but has anyone got any other advice to prevent sum of it at least? i no the basics like tyre pressures, feathering the throttle etc
your thoughts please....:dapprove:

LSD is the only way really.

apart from that you can only try to stiffen the chassis and prevent body roll

its got a full rollcage,f&r strut braces etc i might try adjusting the rear shocks.

just sold my rs turbo cos of g/box snapping probs might get a bmx instead!
the gripper diffs are 820 quid tho...ouch!

Your problem is unloading the inside wheel and an open diff.

Your problem is worse than normal as slicks generate higher G loadings and affect weight shift more. You actually lighten the inside wheel more, and eventhough it is a slick you have less grip on that wheel and it spins up.

LSD is the answer....or go in faster and slide the bugger.
