I miss my Clio..

I never thought I'd miss the Clio, as I didn't think I was one for driving thrills and enjoyment, preferring the shift to comfort and lazy turbo'd driving...

...how I was wrong!

After seeing ph-reebone's ph1 on the weekend, I'm really tempted to make an early return to RenaultSport ownership.

Anyone got a Cup they want to P/Ex with a Golf GTi?!?

Lol, the Golf is sooooo much more car than the Clio ever was, don't get me wrong.

It's just a very solid, comfy, reliable motor without excitement. I knew it wouldn't be exciting but I didn't realise how much I'd miss the excitement!

I suppose there's also an element of coming into summer now and not needing the solidity / protection from the elements as much. I'm sure I won't miss the sound of wind whistling through my door on the motorway when I get the Golf on a long run!

And, yeah, it's Revo'd with exhaust system and green panel filter - approx 210bhp. It's quick, but lazy-quick!

Get another clio mate, get a boring comfortable car with a turbo thats easy to drive when yoy retire lol

Depends what your after, buy a cheap valver for fun as 2nd car.

Sounds great to me, getting a little tired of the noise/revvy engine of the172
