I want a HD DVD drive FFS!!

.....but I cannot find any anywhere!! I am talking about the 360 HD drive, thing is a reee bastid to find! Checked all the online places, PC world etc, and no jog on if you think I am paying ebay prices!! Seen a place selling Jap import ones, which is tempting, but wont come with King Kong HD. Anyone know anywhere that sells US ones, and if they come with KK??

Does anyone know if the plan is to region lock HD DVD's, I would, being a layman, assume so really????

There are no plans at present. But the actual drives there are all generic, its down to the 360 to determine region.

So as I have a UK machine, its irrelevant which drive I buy, if they choose to lock them, I will be stuck with Region 2??

Got my on launch day, but opened it on Xmas day it was broken and had to sent back - I am waiting on delivery of the replacement!!

No stock so god knows when i get it replaced.

mine is in ' packing ' as well, but I've seen quite a few orders go from that status back to ' processing ' . I reckon if it is dispatched tomorrow we will be looking at Tuesday delivery at the earliest.
