:)

I drove over 300 miles yesterday, all very carefully. The only high number on my dash was the mpg ;)

That's a thought. I could do with a cracked windscreen - this one has loads of scratches in it. Replacement ftw!

Agree.

I'm quite happy driving a FWD car in this weather.

Drove my Dad back from the pub in his 350Z yesterday - Very slowly and with a sensitive right foot and it was twitching like a good 'un.

It is amazing how many people I see driving around like it's 20 degrees. Just adapt your driving, pay attention, and enjoy roundabouts.

Doesnt bother me to much mainly because when i was 17 i learned to drive between november - febuary, drove in the dark in the snow in heavy rain in icey conditions ect.

Helped me alot, i did have friends that waited till the summer so they could learn in nice weather to make it easier for them

Kill two birds with one stone.

Put the kettle on first thing tomorrow.. make a cuppa, pour remainder over screen and enjoy cuppa whilst waiting for Autoglass to arrive !

Russ... if only you had posted this thread 10 days ago, I wouldnt have binned mine.

For that reason alone, I feel you owe me a replacement car.
And no, I won't take a picture of a spider as payment.

Love you too xx

I came off the road on SAt night doing about 15mph in my 172, just slid straight off a country bend, totally took me by surprise :|

Luckily just onto grass and a mud verge, no damage thank God. Needs a proper clean now though, chunks of mud on my allready stinking wheels... :S

Nothing wrong with that. the roads can be just as dangerous at 20deg. its all about knowing where you can and cant. I bet 90% of people pay no attenttion to the road surface and dont even adjust their driving when the road is wet or the tarmac is old and shiney.
