Im really struggling with...

Rite im getting really annoyed about the colour of my car its a

"Silver" 1.6 Dynamique but i don't know what silver it is...
Im colour coding my bump strips and door handles and ive been to halfrauds and DRB and both of the only had

Iceburg Silver
Renault Silver Grey

I paid the 3 pound for the tiny spray can and i have 1 spare bumpstrip which i tested it on... but it wasnt right it was too shiney.

My car is in the avatr if anyone could be of any help...

Its a 51 plate so i'll be boreal gris, which is Renault Silver Grey iirc. Paint will change as it dries, sure your not putting too much on? Laquering it will dull it down too.

dont the cars all have the colour codes and names on a plate in the door frame?

yep ^ check the code, inside of drivers door.

only way to know for certain is look at the paint codes. Halfords dont stock all renault colours on the shelf, so may need to custom mix it. post a pic up, as the pic in the avatar is too small

yeah i think uv got the same colour clio as my mate, check the paint code, little sticker on your left wen u open the drivers door (this may be wrong tho, some1 pls correct me if i am) then u have to order it from halfords, if it is the same colour then its quite hard to colour match.

Well ive just got my side skirts and im after front n raer bumper, also 172 wings and cup spoiler, ive got to colour match em all!

Renault silver grey isnt far of but im not too sure its right, its almost as if its missing a tint of blue.
how do you post up pics?

Upload them to photobucket. It could also be classed as titanium, i had to get the colour mixed up (came up as boreal on their system) but even then it was a little darker than std. I think the best match will be found from Renault.

what a b**ch! all i wanted to do was no the paint colour!
i have to get it rite first time!
so first thing is to check on the inside of my door and see wha it says...

Your oval plate is down towards the bottom of your b pillar . This is mine , my colour code is j41 for arctic blue .

they did make the ph2 in iceburg, but i think it might only be the more recent ones. Theres one here...

imo get it dont by a pro, i had to get mine all blended in as it was a pain to match the colour

then search for it on here and it will tell you what its called

REMEMBER painting plastic is different from painting metal, so the colour will be a little off

well, ive got my sideskirts now, and bumpstrips and handles will be of the car soon, just need cup spoiler front n rear bumper and arches... i think im sorted for rear bumper tho!
