Between a Ph1 or a Ph2 172. The price of the ph1 is appealing, but that front end and interior :dead:

Not sure what to do. Is there any difference in insurance?

not to my knowledge, but the tax is cheaper on a ph1 if it was registered before 2001

Just looked on pistonheads. Ph1s going for under 4k. I paid more than that for my Dynamique. Might just wait till next year when ive got a bit more cash and see what there is in the way of ph2's.

That front end though! Just looks like a trout. Ill admit, Taylors swayed me slightly when it was for sale, but I just dont think I could live with it.

the ph1 looks mean, like a real hot hatch, the ph2 just look the same as all the ph2 really as the drive past. but hey its swings and roundabouts.
