Immobiliser transponder help?

Hey guys,
Recently took my good 172 engine and put it in a different 172 shell that had a blown engine,also took the ECU and wiring harness with it,now the issue is the immobiliser,i need to find the black transponder box under the dash however i'm not sure where to look or what the box looks like.I've gone through google but i've not had any luck,any help?

its called the UCH
look up the passenger footwell and under where the fuse's go there is a bigish box with wires going into it.
you will also need the key barrell from your working car

Had a look tonight and the car has an aftermarket alarm/immobiliser,is it likely that they removed the stock one to fit it? if they have is there another way to disarm the immobiliser? :S

your car or the new car has the alarm?
i doubt they removed the original immobiliser.they prob just added a alarm.
did you swap over the uch,key barrel?

my car has the alarm,i looked at the UCH unit and i know what im looking for now,the key barrel is swapped so i should be all good,thanks for telling me what to look for dude,appreciate it
