improvements choosing 8yW over 83V

Hi,
due a new set of black round things allround, I like the Michelins PS3 so will stick with them.
Was wondering I see some people chose the 87W version over the 83V version because (probably) the sidewalls were stiffer.
None of the posts have feedback on how they got on though, so the question is:

anybody ever make the switch, and was there any inprovement?

I have not made the switch but currently use the 83V's. Didn't notice any difference going from the PE2 to the PS3 in regards to feedback of the sidewall.
