Info on this 16v please!!

Hi, Im looking at 16vs to buy and was wondering what you thought of this...

1995 1.8 16v, 65000 miles, FSH, PAS, e/s/r, e/m, e/w, cd player, VGC, 11months, tax till end OCT £2300

My mates friends selling it and I was wondering whether there was anything that I need to know about this model and its condition. I presume it will need a cambelt change, if so how much will that be?? The prices seems pretty dam good too? Any help would be good, cheers, Sam

Depends on condition. Could be worth £1000, could be worth £3000.., ya dont know.

Cambelt (on its own) is about £180/£200.

If its a mint car (i.e. no arch rust, lovely bodywork, lots of bills etc), then Id say make an offer of £2k and hope for the best.

Mine was a 93 16v in grey, fsh, pas, ew, esr, abs etc (usual stuff) 12mth mot and no dents with 84k mls, seems ok, its hard to judge without seeing it though, got any piccies? What colour is it? btw, £1995.

You wouldnt be able to judge it at all just looking at pictures on the net!
