Installing a 2nd battery

My mate is running a fairly decent spec ICE system but having serious problems with dimming lights and amp cutting out because the battery cant take it...

From previous posts power cap is not the way forward - anyobne installed a 2nd battery and if so how? any guides anywhere??

and some big fuses 200A should do

i did this for a mate in his car... had to use a proper automotive relay thou, as its quite high current.

yeah a 180A relay would be required

id try a cap first, you can pick em up pretty cheap now and its a lot easier to sort out than doing a 2nd battery

im sorry but dont get a cap it will just put extra load on the electrical system.

Uprate the big three before getting a second battery
