£6,500 grand quote on the Type R a few months back. Settled with Norwich Union with £850 in the end. LOL.

  Williams 2
Same here for my Willy 2. Norwich Union by far the cheapest @ £600 fully comp with all the bells and whistles. Next cheapest was £1600!!! I left it a week after the quote and they came back and offered a discount further!! Great news!! :D

  RB 200 Cup!
insurance companie asare all b******s - aprt from norwich union direct - gotta love em really plus when may comes around and i'll have me 2 NCB and be 22 - 172 or 182 if enough cash is def on the cards - just finding it hard being patient

Norwich Union wouldnt insure me on my 172 because i was under 25, went with Privilege, was £430 if i wanted unprotected no claims and £650 excess but i got the voluntary excess to £0 and had protected and cost me around £650

Privilege are good . Just got my renewal quote of Flux , £652  , got a quote off privilege online for £448 so Flux dropped theirs to £445 .Then ashbourne undercut flux to £432 , so they are gonna beat it when i send them the proof ;)

Gonna save around £220 just with a couple of phone calls . It pays to shop about every year .

Alot of your insurance price is to do with your postcode, companies rate your area by themselves not on like a national data base. It's always best to shop around.:approve:

I'm 18 with 1 years NCB.... Grand total for insurance is £1860! Thats with an increase of £260 because mother has "poor driver history" (they increased because someone crashed into her!) Good point above though, use each insurance compnay to fight the other. Say Admiral gave u £300 less than Virgin and make them battle, end of they day... they want your money!!

  ALBI 197 Sonic MKII
£1008 with elephant.co.uk fully comp and i'm 20, with 0yrs no claims. Must have a good postcode!
