im 19, 2years exp, 0 no claims and its 800 on my valver with elephant, was 1250 with my licence 1year 11months as they round down so i waited the extra month. I'd wait mate as it really does make a difference.

Thinking of doing this myself as well.
Got some money saved up and should get around £3,000 for my current clio, then maybe another £1,000 if i sell the mods separately.
I know the insurance will be crazy but i really want one, been getting quotes of just over £3,000 so far.
Havent tried Greenlight or Quinn yet. Also gonna try Admiral Multicar as we have 3 cars currently insured with Admiral.

Just got a qoute from Elephant with 1 yrs no claims from them ant it came out at £2039 Full Comp


So im going with a 1.6 for a while as its only £1000 Fully comp with my 3 points....more worth while imo
